Uggh... I remember watching this poor excuse of a dub on Toonami several years ago. I'm British btw. Still, it's nowhere near as atrocious as the Malaysian English dub. In either case, I'd take the Funimation dub, hands down.

Yeah, the red haired pirate chick in the beginning is Captain Syrup. She was Wario's first rival, other than Mario. She was the leader of the Brown and Black sugar pirates in Wario lands 1 and 2. Since they were on the old monochrome Game boy, not many people will remember her. But him and her go way back. I'm glad they brought her back for this new game after all these years, even if it was a minor role. I hope she doesn't fade into obscurity again.
