Your work is truely amazing. You are indeed an inspiration to me, I've even started playing my piano again. I've been printing off sheet music for ages and I'm heading to my local music shop tomorrow to pick up two books I ordered last week.
If you are in the mood at all for a request, a softer version of The Cats song Macavity would be amazing ^_^ |

Passion can't be faked; and your work is a true example of passion.
To me, what's great about your work is that not only do you do stellar performances on video; but you unselfishly provide stereo MP3's of your work for download. That goes a long way. Needless to say, my 'CalikoKat' folder in my MP3 directory is slowly growing! Wishing you all the best my friend. Keep it up! Logan |

This Friday and Sunday the Houston Symphony Orchestra is performing Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony. I plan on seeing it, as this is one of my favorite pieces ever composed. I am taking a course on the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas in their historical context and I think exposure to this music is not only important and relevant, but absolutely ESSENTIAL for anyone seriously interested in—or not interested in—African art—as Dvořák was clearly influenced by native/negro spirituals. I have shared your interpretation of the Largo movement (Going Home) with a few hundred classmates of mine in hopes that they will too see the performance for themselves. Whether they will all watch your performance, I don't know. But great work. You have gained a subscriber.
