Try dozens once you whittle out the ones that are not biologists and the ones that signed the document not knowing what it was. Anyway if we are going to play that game, I have millions of scientists on my side. Lets not play that game.

Haeckel's (correct spelling) recapitulation theory was rejected over 100 years ago, it is no longer taught as valid science in textbooks. His drawings are no longer relevant seeing as we have pictures now yet they were really not that far off given technology of the time. And no, textbooks 20 years down the road will not claim that neanderthals were our ancestors, and they don't now either.

First of all if I am not mistake those pictures represent the Australopithecines and Homo habilis and erectus, not Homo neanderthalensis. However even if they did then the discovery that Neanderthals were a sister species merely remaps the lineage of humanity along another path, it doesn't prove that there is no path. The discovery fits perfectly with evolutionary theory.

The evidence suggests that Homo neanderthalensis were a sister species that have since died out.

I love bill but I'm shocked in that trailer he asked such a silly question.I mean really(I'm not a christian) any christain should be able to tell him why their god can't just get rid of the devil. In their book(the bible) it says that the devil is the little god of man and only mankind gives him power.Which leads one to understand that if you don't believe the devil has power then he doesn't have any power.I wouldn't mind seeing the movie.I hope he askes better questions of the other people in it.

can you link me to a clip you had up a while ago (i can't remember much about it except that it had a guy talking about various things, one of which was to do with the man's face on the moon, which is really just a coincidence, as we are used to looking at faces) i can't remember what it was called or whatever.
