Awesome job on the Dervish tune! My very first revelation of Irish folk was when I heard Dervish on the Garrison Keller show called "A Praire Home Companion" The featured song "Peigin Mo Chroi" from the album "Playing with Fire" and that song wakend the Irish in me and plucked a chord in my very soul that resonates to this day. The band was not yet popular in the u.s. and the music was nowhere to be found; i had to call Dublin telephone information for a record store there. They were very gracious, I sent the currency and it was mailed to me. at that time, I was a drunkard and only drank Bushmills Irish whisky! We had a grand time; of course all my friends thought i'd lost it. Since that time i've collected many sounds from Ireland, Celtic and folk. I am a fan of yours now and pray you prosper, even as your soul prospers.
