Douwe Dijkstra (1984) graduated in the summer of 2005 from the Academy of Arts in Zwolle; CABK. He won the Tent Academy Award 2005 and the Green Olive, prize for young talent 2005 for his graduation films. As a result of the Green Olive award he got the opportunity to work in Hangar for 1 month, an audiovisual studio in Barcelona, and did so in February 2006. He still works as an animator on various projects including videoclips, animated web-features and independent short films.
