Since several people have asked me this question below, I decided to post the answer for everyone to see:

<b>HOW DO YOU MAKE THE BACKGROUND ON YOUR YOUTUBE PAGE A PICTURE?</b>

1. Go to an image hosting page (I use <b>http://imageshack.us</b>, this explanation is strictly for that service, simply because I don't know how to use Photobucket or anything else)

2. Click on <b>"browse"</b> on the page, and the template for your computer's "My Pictures" will come up. Choose the picture that you'd like to have as your BG.

3. Hit <b>"Host it!"</b> (or upload, whatever) and the picture uploads. It will supply you with about 9 different URLs.

4. Right click and <b>"Copy"</b> the last URL on the page ("Direct link to Image" one)

5. Return to your YouTube profile page and
at the top of the box where it has your profile pic, date of the last login, date you joined, ect., click <b>"Edit Channel"</b>

6. This brings you to a page with a list, click on <b>"Channel design"</b>.

7. Scroll down to the section that says: <b>"Advanced Design Customization"</b>.

8. Right click on the text box next to <b>"Background image (URL)"</b> and paste the URL that you copied in there.

9. Hit <b>"Update Channel"</b> at the bottom of the page. The pic that you chose should become your BG.

(<b>RESIZING</b>: The sites used for uploading pics sometimes have a resizing option, however, the resizing option will not resize to larger sizes. To do so, you will have to do it in photoshop or a program such as that and resize it manually, save it, and then upload it.)

<u>NOTE</u> Keep in mind that the picture may take a few minutes to show up as your BG, due to the servers at YouTube getting backed up. If it doesn't immediately show up on your page, it will be there in a few minutes, so be patient! :)
