to insert codes like "1283F742A 0001" or stuff like that you must own a Gameshark or use Project 64 in the cheat section to add the cheats and activate them. There's no way to do that without a Gameshark or any game memory modifier.

For most of them yes, but I don't use any of the not common cheats of Goldeneye in any of my videos because I don't own a Gameshark, the only "rare" cheat that you can't select on the menu but you can activate without a gameshark is the Line Mode, it's a button code that you can find in the detstar goldeneye page, it's kind of complicated to explain how to do it, but basically you enter a level, wait until the pistol comes up and then make a sequence of 10 steps (I think) to activate the cheat, you will notice the effect inmediately when the screen comes completely white with black borders.
P.S.: You can't see the effect of the Line Mode with emulation, you will get no effect, a white "fog" or the screen completely white. |
