Yeah, cherryblossmgrl, that's what most Christians seem to say which is why there are so many different sects of the religion...everybody is right and everybody else is wrong.

I didn't exactly say that...it was in response to your unoriginal quoting of another person's popular blurb (I guess you missed that part).
You must not have questioned this god belief all that much (or compared it to other ones) as it's clearly a bunch of ancient mythical hooey.

Apparently YOU give a shit as you felt the need to post mutipule comments in a public "forum". That you don't care to have people respond to your religious pronouncements in a forum is not my problem.

Of course I sound spiteful...that's what people tend to say about you when you don't believe their god claims which they can't verify. Only a real arrogant dick would write what you did to me.

Since I wasn't able to post this on the Blasphemy Challenge site for some bizarre reason ... here you are ...

Pardon me, but I've left Christianity and come back to it, not in it's popular form, but in my own way. If you KNEW me before saying I "don't think for myself", I think you would take back that statement. I'm one of the proud few who can say they actually DID question. But why am I explaining myself to you? I was surprised when I saw that I received a "reply" to a comment from a freaking video. Who gives a shit what I have to say? You sound like a very spiteful person. And if you truly wanted people to see your point of view, you wouldn't be such an arrogant dick about it.

mirrusca, I don't have faith in myself...I have confidence in myself. Confidence comes from knowledge/experience...things that I SHOULD have about myself.
Religious claims and the tool of science are two completely different things. Religion makes unchangeable pronouncements about the way things are according to them, while science allows us to study reality around us and updates it's findings as needed as new information is obtained.
Since you provide no proof of your god to begin with, science need not disprove what is not there. That leaves the only way to go about doing such is by examining the claims of god believers...like this:

You have your faith in yourself. You are a man. You believe your brain is so capable of understanding everything that surrounds you, that you believe you can judge, with your little brain (cause we all humans have little, limited brains, that means we don't know everything) and your limited 5 senses what exists and what doesnt. Can you unify quantum and newtons physics? You can't right? Your brain isn't able right? Do that before doing more difficult tasks such as determining whether or not there is a God.

Science, by the scientific method cannot defend science as the only way to find the truth. Haven't you ever read "the prevalence of science by feyerabend?"

Anyway... has science disproffed God???

Hey warrior4spam, I know you can't be THAT stupid not to realize what spam is and to think that you aren't actually doing that when you cut and paste the same short god messages over and over. Those bullshit, baseless announcements not only aren't meant to add to the discussion but you don't even bother to capitalize or punctuate.
Your god idea is full of shit and so are you.

ELECTROGOD, you have more comments here than I do so your spamming not me. Also Jesus is at the door ready to open it to come back soon. Look up.

So what, JESUSISLORDAMEN ?
What was that personal anecdote supposed to convey other than a brainwashed believer in a mythical god went from one make-believe god to another?

in my hometown in Pakistan a muslim who was like saul persecuted and used to harass christians in the village, he was a hater and quite famous in the village in peshwar. Last year when we returned to pakistan I met the same man and he is a preacher of the Gospel. A man who onced hated christians became a preacher of the Gospel to the muslims. Amen and praise GOD

Numendil, you seem to like the "Appeal to Authority" the "Argumentum Ad Populum" fallacies. Many theists rely on these for their arguments but they hold no water as valid arguments.
If you accept the findings of scientists it's because there is evidence to back it. There is no evidence of mythical gods actually existing, just evidence that humans are great at making up stories like that...you know that because you obviously don't believe in tens of thousands of other god ideas.
Science does not make determinations about "god", just reality.

No offense on the historicity of Jesus debate. I only try to scientifically correct. Since most historians believe Jesus to be a historical figure, I follow their example. That is the same with other things like Evolution and the Big Bang. I accept what the scientists of today have found to be closest to the thruth. Just like we say in the catholic church: let science be science and religion be religion. They are two seperate fields, and I think you will agree with me on that.
As for a religion debate:I think neither of us can give any definite arguments. You can't prove there is a God, you can't prove there is nothing.
