While Europeans were slaughtering each other for 3000 years, since the Roman empire to WWII or way before Greece invented "democracy", you will be surprised to know Eritreans have always lived in Democracy, getting all villages in communal meetings, deciding their destiny and resolving their differences together, sitting in churches, mosques or under shade of trees and coming up with best solutions to govern themselves.
For Western world, enslaving Africans and virtually wiping out native people all over the world is far more important than elections or Democracy. Isn't?

CNN: What did you learn from the sea farm venture you set up in Eritrea in 1999?

CH: In my 50 years of science, my four and a half years in Eritrea were the most rewarding. I loved every minute of it. The thing I learned that was most strong was what people really need is purpose and hope...and the sea. People -- I mean women and children -- would come to work at night, singing, carrying rocks on their head -- at their initiative -- to finish a pond, so that they and I would be pleased that it was done. I used to go to work in the morning and just damn near cry. I loved the people, I loved the project, and the world will look back upon that one day as one of the really significant projects.

Sowing the seas.

Omar, Thanks for the info.

Afarking, TELETEL-AGAME,
Did you say "Yohaness was a hero". Oh really?
BUT,
1. Did you know Yohaness helped the English General Napier invade Gonder & forced Tedros to commit suicide?
2. Did you know Yohaness barred Islam from Tigray, massacred Muslims & forced the rest of the Muslims to convert to Christianity & fight the Sudanese Mahdists?
3. After he lost the war in Metema, Gonder, did you know the Sudanese Mahdists took Yohaness's head to Sudan & still remains in Sudan. If Yohaness is a hero, why is his head still in Sudan?
Agames like you always betray their friends & always pay heavy price for their BETRAYAL.
Why do you think Ethiopians & Eritreans HATE Agames for?
Go Figure!!!

I think agame are obessed with president ISAIAS Afworki because they think he is the cause of all there problems, but they should take one long hard look at them selves and realize that TPLF policy in ethiopia and in somalia is the problem no eritrea, and finally they should get out of badame because that is eritrean land.
