Yeah, she's definitely a rare bird. I was driving on the ramp one day with the windows down and I heard the very distinctive sound of a Merlin engine from behind one of the hangars. So, I pulled the car over and put my camera in video mode, expecting to get some video of my baby, the Mustang. Well, it was a Spitfire that came into view from behind the hangar. I was absolutely ecstatic! Almost dropped my camera, LOL!

Iran has a fairly powerful military, and very powerful defenses... and Su-30MK(I) is one of several fighters they have bought. They have also bought MiG-29SMT, J-10 or 11, and Super Seven, all in large numbers.
I have read article saying Iraq got M1A2.. but what is so different between A1 and A2 anyways?? Both look, function, and get destroyed the same. I forget the differences that tell them apart..
anyways, if the US destroys their own Abrams, that's because they're dead anyways and so fucked up it would be impossible to recover it... meaning it's already been destroyed, but we want to add to the fireworks.
About export Abrams, the Egyptians and Saudis say different :)
It's a pity Russia won't sell them T-90S.. it can beat M1A2 :) lol, but if Russia were ever to sell the straight up T-90M, they'd instantly become 2nd greatest tank force in teh world.

As you know, Russia in the past several years has changed its export policies... rather than selling export models of weapons made 30 years ago, they do it with weapons that were made like 5-10 years ago, which despite this and the downgraded version, are still very comparable to NATO weapons. This is the reason we have not invaded "evil" Iran lol. Now it's too late, they're loaded with so much shit now and by 2010, it will be impossible.

Yeah i know, M1A2 tanks, I read an article on defensetech some time ago with a garbage title "Iraq Getting World's Best Tank". That was after they couldn't get T-90s from Russia :p However, they are a prospect for acquiring Su-30 fighters.
