I'm a huge fan. Big supporter of Skeptic magazine. I love the Michael Shermer demeanor.

People will believe anything, and if they don't have proof that can be checked they believe largely on faith, they get so upset when you actually check it out. People want scientists to have faith and to simply leave certain things alone, they don't want their delusions messed with, I'm glad someone out there messes with them. I'm especially glad that you try to save people money and heartache by exposing these things, and they get upset that you've shattered their narrow world view.
