I know I really can't play guitar, but I've been practicing everyday, except I think I did skip two days since the last video. Not too bad. After listening to the track I put here, I realize I need to add some dynamic to my playing. And a few extra chords couldn't hurt. I'm pretty stubborn and determined to make all my own music and sounds now. So, just be patient with me, putting myself on these videos in this way is really pushing me to get better. I'll improve, I promise. And I promise I won't ever sing. You're speakers would explode if I did.
I drew Michael and scanned the drawing. Then, I erased it little by little in my editing program, and made a backwards gif out of it. Next step was coloring, which I did again in the software with airbrush.
I made this for my husband because he is super cool. He doesn't get much of a chance to record any music because of that 40 hour a week torture. y'know, work. I didn't show him this until it was completely finished. Usually I make him watch all my videos at every stage, so he has to see them 1 million times before they are published. He's great that way.
I was going to add some kissing sounds, but in the end decided against it, because I was having trouble with it. Long story. boring technical issues.
If you want to make a video about your husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend, that would be really cool, and post it here as a video response if you want.
In a few days I'll have a call for collab vid up, plus an answer to a tag I got. I haven't forgotten about drawing everyone, I will work on it as much as I can. I probably won't put as much detail into the next ones, because I know you guys are in a hurry to get them. Enough from me. blah blah blah.

The hand drum I am playing is a cajon. It is basically a box with a sound hole in the back about the same size as a sound hole in an acoustic guitar. Inside the cajon are wires just like in a snare drum.
My little guitar outro is my attempt at playing. I sit down about every 6 months and get my husband to give me guitar lessons. I play with it for about a week, and then I usually get busy and forget about it.
The only sound on the video that I didn't create is the sawing sound. I got that from the royalty-free Sony sound forge bank.
I recorded the cajon, guitar, and my voice with the PCM Sony field recorder. Thanks to my husband for helping me record.
I don't play guitar or cajon, I play drums (trap set). I don't really have a knack for anything else.
I worked on this for 10 days. Around the 8th day, Gar cut his hair, so I saw a great opportunity to modify the vid. It was really fun erasing all the hair off.

I must say I really enjoy making 10 second videos. lol.
The video that started it. I was in a big hurry to get the video up, wanted to do an anime drawing of TAMMpON. I had to go and study some anime, since I don't know how to do it. So, I came up with this. I just had time to make a line drawing and get it uploaded. So, who knows, maybe I will start animating this one, and from there I'll make more of these of other Youtubers. I think Evil Betty would be the easiest to do.

If I didn't like him, I would not have just spent the 25 or so hours it takes me to do these. (I don't do it all at once, this was spread out over a 2 to 3 week time period)(That's start to finish, starting with the line drawing)
I hand drew the line drawing, scanned it and put it in my paint program. I painted it, which takes me a little while. :)
I built the bee and the firecracker in my Picture it program. I made the red fire/smoke explosion stuff and deformed his face frame by frame in my photo editor.
I put all my frames together in Windows Movie Maker, because it's so simple to do so. So, all the effects are frame by frame, not Sony Vegas. I put the Windows Movie Maker project into Sony Vegas to get my sounds on there, because you can't layer any sounds on Windows Movie Maker. So, I made everything except for the sounds, which are royalty free from magix and sony forge. It's kind of annoying because I panned the sounds so that the buzzing would be on the left when the bee was on the left and the right when the bee was on the right. But I guess it doesn't matter on YouTube, because It's all just mono or whatever.

Lasse Gjertsen draws his animations, scans them, and colors them digitally. That's why I started doing mine that way.

Naruyo came to visit me, and I am just so honored! This is why I was busy last week!
I'm working on a Loganrox right now, hopefully it will be finished soon. If not by tonight, it will be completed sometime in the morning.
We did lots of fun, silly things like feed squirrels walnuts and take pictures of manhole covers. Naruyo could have fun doing just about anything.
