Thanks.

You are right it is a workflow issue. I like Logic too much to blame it. In fact, Armin Van Buuren's (world's No.1 Trance DJ / Composer) latest full album "Imagine" on iTunes contains a digital booklet, which contains a Logic screenshot of one of his full compositions, so I'm sure its not the software.

I will continue to try and find better solutions to these following specific issues:

1. Templates (they have become harder considering I have Reason, Native Instruments Komplete and IL Morphene)..

2. Lack of "finesse" with keyboard shortcuts

3. Using screensets to my advantage

I'm in OC, but if I was near SF, I'd really love to come by Pyramind..

Thanks again, you're great.

Hi, thanks for your Logic+Reason video. Helped me a lot.
Now I have a problem running the two. When I select a NON-reason track in Logic, I still get Reason to play along with the non-reason track...

How do I set up Reason/Logic to only play when I have a reason track selected in logic?

Thanks!

theProtagony - Hey there. Transitioning to another platform is ALWAYS hard. It's not Logic's fault, or your fault. It's the transition from one way of thinking to another. There's no way I can give you specific advice, because I think this is a workflow issue. Check out the videos, and the book by David Nahmani, and see if that helps you out. If you're still stuck, then find Logic users in your area or a training center and get yourself educated. People can rock Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, whatever. Logic is not a magic bullet.

Don't blame the software. That's like blaming a ferrari that it's not a corvette.

Thank you SO much for the vids. I have watched all of your videos and learned a lot so far. I owe much of the inspiration to create tracks on a Mac to you, sir!

That being said, I still feel like Logic (overall) is a major hindrance - if I have a song concept in mind, by the time I record the first clip, its gone... This was (and is) never a problem with FL Studio (on PC). Since the PC has given me so many headaches, I have tried to transition to Mac with this major investment. FL makers have no intention of porting to Mac.

With Logic, I end up with crappy one-liners and struggle to create even basic synth sounds. The supplied synth presets seem to be a sad story compared to even 3OSC on FL Studio. Whenever I get started, six hours later I have got pretty much nothing done.. (don't know why considering all these awesome tutorials..). I have a plethora of plugins for sounds - just not productive with Logic...

What could help me? Any advice?
