Nom : Louis-Philippe
A member of the Official Artist Union in Montreal, Louis-Philippe Simard of Montreal, Canada attended acting classes from 2001 to 2007. In 2006 he also undertook martial art fighting and stunt class at the Montreal National Theater School.

Simard is a talented and a skilled athlete holding a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art and combat sport regarded as the world's most popular martial art in terms of practitioners and specifically renown for its thrilling delivery of spinning kicks thrown from a mobile stance which employs the leg's greater reach and power than arms and fists.

Simard has choreographed, directed and performed as an actor or stuntman in over 30 short films which depict the high energy and spectacular feats needed for complex martial arts fight scenes. His marital art background is particularly distinguished by the fact at just 4 years old he began his first instruction in the martial art under Chong Lee's Taekwondo School (WTF), the first such school in all of Canada.

Simard was chosen as first and the youngest Lee's students; he trained from 1984 to 1988. Simard also featured in the TV documentary show: "Les héros du Samedi" ("The Heroes/Champions of Sunday"). His unusual high skill was highlighted despite being just 8 years old at the time; his talent eclipsing the skills of far older students in their mid-teens.
