Proverbs 30:56 states that every word of God is pure ... . Do not add to His words, lest He reprove you and you be found a liar. The Bible cannot be treated as just some great literary work. We need to tremble at his word (Isaiah 6:5) and not forget:
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:1617).
In the original autographs, every word and letter in the Bible is there because God put it there. Let us listen to God speaking to us through His Word and not arrogantly think we can tell God what He really means!
