Ah, Jaws- you're in for a musical treat! That famous E-note, boom-boom, boom-boom, boom-boom theme, according to Spielberg, was responsible for $50 million of the $133 million the film eventually made in rentals. One of my very favourite scores.

Those synchronicities you're experiencing with Dawn and me are great... I've ceased to question our subliminal, almost supernatural dance... am simply following where it leads.

Composer John Williams (no relation!) had an interesting thing to say about that in the cover notes to his "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" CD. Of the famous Raiders March, he said:

"I remember working on that thing for days and days, changing notes, changing this, inverting that, trying to get something that seemed to me to be just right. I can't speak for my colleagues but for me things which appear to be very simple are not at all, they're only simple after the fact. The manufacture of these things which seem inevitable is a process that can be laborious and difficult."
