i left the carnival early enough to avoid the riot.......i would laugh ma bollocks off if i find out one of ma friends got injured or arrested during the riot......we all know that someone always gets shot, robbed or knifed......or a major fight will happen during the carnival (from past experience- previous carnivals) so, either leave early or move with ur crew. but this is the 1st riot ever...its always been just a minor case of theft or bullying.

notting hill carnival was last week monday!!! it wa maddddd!! great!! but at the end, there was a riot; youth vs police!!! it was shameful!! racism + violence. the police were provoking the black youth....imagine.....shoving and searchin guys for no reason..they didnt do that to the white guys. then came the throwing of bottles at d police........i left early.....so i didnt see much violence. cant we just live in multi-cultural peace?
