We're the "Sheila Kirsten Hughes Band," a husband-and-wife team. I'm Sheila, a singer/songwriter. I play the guitar, piano, cello (one of my favs!!), and tinker around a bit on the fiddle (not because I'm good at it, but because I really enjoy the instrument.) My husband Chris is the bassist and also the sound engineer. He usually runs sound from the stage when we do live gigs or when we're working on our albums in our home studio. He also is responsible for some percussion, sequences, and occasionally adds some keys into the mix. We also throw our very good friend Alex Wolfe Parnes into our "magic," as he describes it, as often as we can. He's an amazing drummer, plus he plays several other instruments, and is a Tampa Bay based singer/songwriter as well -- and he's an awesome human being.
