C'mon guys, Steele lost. He's a good guy with good ideas, he just wasn't what Maryland wanted. He has a bright political future ahead of him, IMHO. Anyways, if you would just think open-mindedly instead of voting along party lines and "keeping it in the family," politics would be a lot more pleasant, and Michael Steele might've won. Instead, poeple get afraid because they think they'll show weakness by voting for the person who might actually change things. That's what cost Steele the election - not racism, loyalty, or reason.
PS: Personally I think Maryland will regret electing Cardin before his term is up.
