My name is Travis Franklin, and I am 24 years old, my birthday is February 14th. I am originally from Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri, which is a suburb in North St. Louis County. I grew up there with my parents and two older brothers. I attended St Christophers Grade school. Then I attended a high school named St. Thomas Aquinas-Mercy High School, unfortunately Aquinas-Mercy is no longer a high school, back in 2003 Rosary High School and Aquinas-Mercy merged into one school call Trinity Catholic High School. I graduated in May of 2002; I then attended St. Louis Community College at Meramec, while living/taking care of my Grandma Hausman. After being there for two years, I then transferred to Jefferson College for the Veterinary Technology Program, but then decided to go down a different route and took a business class and really like it, so I switched majors to Business Management. While attending Jefferson College I was a Resident Assistant for Viking Woods Student Housing, while living on campus for only a semester they asked me to be an RA. Also I have been (and still am) an active member in the Student Ambassadors of Jefferson College. I currently hold an officer position of Membership Coordinator, also partnered with the Alumni Coordinator as well. Then when I decided to move out of the housing in spring 2007, I moved to De Soto, Missouri, but recently moved to Festus, MO. Its a about 35 minutes from St. Louis. Its also a small town, out in the country. In December 2007 I graduated from Jefferson College with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management. I am planning on getting my Bachelors degree sometime, just not going to hurry on getting it. One of my passions that I have in life is animals. I just absolutely love them, I love all kinds, mainly dogs, and they are my number 1 animal. You can read about my pets on my pets page. I am an active member of the ASPCA and The United States Humane Society. I am a big animal advocate; this is a very strong area which I am involved in. I just hate that the cruelty laws are not as strong as they should be in the U.S. But that is just my personal opinion. Some of the things I like to do are: travel, movies, hanging out, talk to people online, listen to music, camping, swimming, spending time with my animals, I am pretty open actually, so I am always up for anything.
