It's my pleasure to share with you a program that has scared me when I was little, and has burnt a hole in my head for my entire life called Richard Scarry's Animal Nursery Tales, courtesy of Golden Book Video. The entire program is shown as it was on the original VHS. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Now it is my pleasure to present my first FEATURE-LENGTH movie upload on YouTube. I saw that nobody has uploaded this, so I decided to.
It is The Wizard of Oz, a 1982 Japan-animated film, but is only recorded in English. It stars Aileen Quinn (Annie) as Dorothy and Lorne Greene as The Wizard. Not to be confused with the 1939 MGM movie we all know so well, this is probably the most faithful adaption to L. Frank Baum's original story, although the red slippers are borrowed from the 1939 movie. Enjoy this movie. I'm sure for some of you, it will bring back memories. I got my $50 GE Wildcat portable stereo record player at Goodwill and it is in excellent condition. it plays three speeds such as 33, 45 and 78 RPM. The needle is in perfect shape and it plays really well. As I should say that this record player was made in 1972. This is the same record player that my friend and YouTuber "damusician" has. I have a number of videos on YouTube for the last several months which was played on my GemSound BJL-1150 turntable which is Technics style, but I will be taking those down to make way for uploading the same songs and stories which is on my 1972 GE Wildcat record player. It's going to take a while to upload a number of videos so that it might show up on YouTube. I have a number of Disneyland LP's and I will be playing on my GE Wildcat in action. Stay tuned! |
